Splitweet: multiaccounting and brand reputation Tweetmas

Splitweet born ... is the response that comes closest to my "ideal use" of Twitter.



A new service, launched last few weeks, quickly described allows:
  • manage multiple Twitter accounts at once, seeing one displays the tweets of your followers to multiple Twitter accounts.
  • monitor mentions of key words or marks that have predefined above.

Moreover, seeing these features, not only meets the needs of a particular user but will certainly use cover well a company can do on Twitter.

Right now the service is in public beta ... but I can say it works perfect (at least in my case). But to understand better, in every sense, this service asked Albert López one of the three minds (along with @ Obokaman , @ alombarte ) to create Splitweet, if you could answer a few questions ... here I leave with the result


Q. - Where does Splitweet?
R. - arose primarily to meet a need we had, as heavy users of Twitter. We manage our personal account, the account of our company, our blogs, personal projects ... and also try to track mentions of our brand, keywords relevant to our business, etc. and do it with the tools available so far, it was extremely tedious work. From this premise, we started spinning wing idea of \u200b\u200ba manager multiple accounts with monitoring tools.


Q. - What types of customers are you targeting?
R. - With Splitweet we carry the microblogging a little further, and although initially focused in the corporate environment, companies online PR, reputation management ... also believe that many individual users can take advantage. Splitweet propose to use as a way to separate the accounts by area (family, work, etc ...) depending on the target audience.
One can express themselves in various ways depending on the audience you have. For example, my account of a night out is not I use it with coworkers.


Q. - What is the business model behind Splitweet?
R. - Splitweet intend to gradually become an integral management tool to squeeze 100% all the relevant information from Twitter that may be useful to be informed of who speaks for us and, especially, reaction time. This means that Splitweet current version is only the beginning . Following the same system of "Continuous integration " that allowed us to develop Splitweet so fast, we intend to continue publishing features that, without adding complexity to the application, to increase the productivity of our users, providing relevant information and tools to act. That is our challenge for the future.


Q. - You have built the brand up in your tool. How many marks can follow?
R. - Easy: as many as Twitter and its API allows for searches, meaning that all brands / keywords to be monitored can not exceed 140 characters ( Sorry, your query not can be more Than 140 characters long).


Q. - What makes you "different" from other multiple management tools Twitter accounts?
R. - We know there are other services that can manage multiple Twitter accounts (some paid, some not), but mostly just that: to twitter from different accounts without identifying for each tweet.

With Splitweet, besides this, can follow what they say the contacts you have in each of those accounts, you can see all your answers and respond, monitor your brand and make good management of your online reputation in responding Twitter to all those questions from your users / customers on time . On the other hand, we are making an effort to translate to as many languages \u200b\u200bSplitweet
representative in terms of Twitter: it versions available: English, Catalan, English and French and will shortly be available in Dutch, German, Italian and Portuguese . any volunteers for the Japanese or Taiwanese?
