After the interview last Monday account eDreams , today published the interview with Bill on Twitter Catch , we replied ago Silvia Carreño days , Social Media Manager of Atrpalo.



P. - You are a pure online agency. Your strategy has always been the development of Internet activity ... what is the role in this strategy your Twitter account?
R. - Twitter is
for us merely a tool of communication and would like to continue working in that direction. Twitter is not a direct conversion channel sales, but a medium through which anyone with an account can direct messages or respond to those who went.

So far, Twitter has helped us to collect in a single channel which we published in various blogs and launch day 3 findings, which come to be very good deals, because after all, we are a web has leisure, and our primary function is to advise people the best deals at hand.
From time to time, we launched more personalized messages, or respond to others.

Q. - How long who are on Twitter? Do you remember why you chose to enter?
R. -
A year ago we started to publish. And remember when we decide to go, because we had the account, but due to time constraints we did not even encouraged to use it, or decided what, and how will post on Twitter.

Since we did Cava & Twitts dedicated to Tourism that he wanted to talk about two twitter accounts possibly best known in this sector account eDreams and of Catch. R. -
I think we were the first (if not the first) to enter our website using Twitter to DreamIt (twitter.com / DreamIt) as a spokesperson in July 2007. What you do 1 ½ years we are present there being the leaders in online agencies but with numbers still weak compared with other possible actions

P. - What you hope to accomplish with your presence on Twitter, in particular, and in social media in general?
R. -
I think we should differentiate much between success in Twitter and success in other social activities Media. Twitter has to evolve and attract more public to become more than just a communication tool for early adopters . eDreams is clearly positioned in the mass market and if we want to Twitter as a tool of communication and information dissemination Premium, the number of Twitter users today are not sufficient to be considered cost-effective action.
On the other hand look at Social Media as in any other marketing action but still very aware that it is a new world in which we have to experiment to get results. R. -
In our case, we are more positioned in the publication of information, but extremely filtered. Cava & Twitts ... You already are a small community?


Yesterday we celebrated the 3 rd edition of Cava & Twitts dedicated on this occasion, the Social Networks and communities. We had as guests Pere Rosales, founder and director Unusual Marketing and Gregor Profesionalia Gimmy, founder and CEO of Sclipo.

And I want to take the issue to share some thoughts around these concepts and what it means Cava & Twitts . The round table began trying to differentiate between a social network and community ... difficult, very difficult. Peter spoke of identification, belonging and loyalty as elements that define and justify a community and social networking as tool that will connect people and we can help create or interconnected communities (and these sentences will sack post by Julia Daniel ). Gregor used broader concepts, using their definitions the example of a town where the houses represent communities and social networks are the club, the club football.

While saying this I recognize that my mind went a little thinking about what it means Cava & Twitts and everyone who was there this and following us via Twitter ... again became more 100 people, and for the organizers is a story that fills us with happiness ... is not an ego thing, it's about having the feeling of having found an event format (round table + networking) that has convinced him enough people to devote one day a month to participate in this event. Also today we have surpassed 300 followers in Twitter and 280 in the group on Facebook . Is it too much or is it enough? ... I can assure you that if for 4 months in the Flamant restaurant where a meal of "conspiracy" for the first time visualize Cava & Twitts , now tell us that this event would be like ... I do not think so.
