INTERVIEW WITH LUIS GÓMEZ

-old were, how and with which you start in this instrument music?

I started really late as it was at 19 years after high school, I started with a 4-string electric guitar hehehehe, I later learned that used 6 ... hehehehe.

"As born FEEDBACK? Who does this involve?

born of an idea when I called one afternoon and Jorge Leon said: JORGE going to do a new band, will be called FEEDBACK, you okay? Ok. Ready, let's find the musicians ... you have someone in mind? .... AND JORGE told me! Pana know a drummer who is good ...., crudely called CONSTANTINE, he studied with me in high school! .... After that we met David Baltodano, because a friend told us: It's a great bass player!. Finally enter the group Franccesco TRADARDI as a keyboardist, who was then supplanted by EDUARDO VILORIA.

-The time elapsed since the birth of the group and recording your first album?

We join in 1985 and the first record in 1987.

"The concept of the group in the beginning was always to have a sound was sixty or something imposed by the label?

FEEDBACK really begins as a cover band when they offer us a record we did not have their own songs ... but where we played was a FULL sure .... - When released the second album "Broken Glass" immediately notice a change in style from the previous disc. Is this the sound that always looked like FEEDBACK?

I think if at that LP was full group work, many nights of inspiration, great ideas and the search for alternatives. We CASTILLO PEDRITO as excellent producer and friend ... and I think particularly of "Broken Glass" is the real letter of what was FEEDBACK.

-Another of the highlights of this second study is that All songs are composed by you. Were satisfied with the results?

if it really on the scale of what the group was looking at both the composition and performance, was the step that followed in our development as a group.

-How was the public reception of this second work from the previous?

Bestial honestly did not expect. BROKEN GLASS exceeded our expectations .... I think so far is doing.

-For the third disc will generate changes in the original training. What happened there?

were very abrupt changes which happened after BROKEN GLASS .... CONSTANTINE falls in love and runs away with his girlfriend leaving everything (BATTERY, GROUP, and even THE DOG). A storm of passions lol, sad but it ... Then he went and joined Baltodano DAVID EDUARDO VILORIA ... In the end I stayed JORGE LEON and assembling a new band, a new FEEDBACK. The band was formed after several musicians, like this: Jorge Leon (vocals), David BART (keyboards), FLORENCIO ACEVEDO (drummer), Dionisio Lopez (bass) and Luis Gomez (guitar). The compositions in this work were carried out by DAVID BART and my person.


"For what reason this work was not advertised on the radio as previous jobs?

We had no support from the label because we were done with ultrasonography and relationships work "only on this earth" (which was the name we gave to the third disc) that we did CYGNUS was the label that kept the agreement with us but unfortunately did not have the promotional machinery for our project.

"Because I choose to end the group?

When I saw that we did not have enough support for what wanted to do and after the change of priorities is happening within each of us told FEEDBACK JORGE that was not going to go as a group.

-What do you do after leaving FEEDBACK? Why do you leave Venezuela?

FEEDBACK
After I play with a trio until 2000 that we are FLORENCIO ACEVEDO (drummer), Mannel MUÑOZ (Bass and Vocals) and myself (guitar and vocals) called "Agent Orange." This filled me with enough musical trio and had a very compact and unique sound. We went to Spain to play in Barcelona. After this, I perform my own compositions on guitar and sharing in 2007 by a band of Miami called "Rebel." Constituted parallel (while the FEEDBACK output) three companies: a computer (computer), a developer and a producer. With businesses that held in Miami, both decided to move back and forth to Miami but not leave Venezuela because I keep my business here too .. So I now work with music, computer and PRODUCTION.

-Why do you think today in the age of digitization, it is impossible to get the job of most rock bands of the past National? That the record did not remaster this work? We lost our contemporary musical memory?

Maybe we need more people like you ... who cares to establish this connection via music for that time does not erase the past so interesting and so full of many experiences, feelings, energy and so much musicality that carries each musicians who dared and dare to share with all who desire it.

JORGE LEON is a surgeon and has a chain of beauty salons in Venezuela and Argentina called Ligth BODY CENTER, CONSTANTINE ESTEVEZ is retired from the music and lives in Margarita working as STORE MANAGER department, EDUARDO VILORIA continued in music with his musical project, DAVID Baltodano has several businesses and companies and music project "OLD SANTOS, Franccesco TRADARDI has several companies in the technology area, FLORENCIO ACEVEDO has a joint tourism and still playing with Agent Orange, DAVID BART works in Canada and Miami in PHONOVIDEO as a sound engineer, working in the medical SASHA shows and drum recordings in Miami in addition to playing with different bands in the area, Dionisio Lopez lives in Spain where is your music project.

"In what projects are you currently?

I am currently doing some musical productions in Miami with DANIEL Gueron (keyboardist and sound engineer), playing in my project and writing, as well as various musical work in which I collaborate as CLAUDIA SARMIENTO (singer) and other musical productions.

"Future plans?

I hope many, as always ... I'm working with JUAN CARLOS PEREZ SOTO in Miami, Raul Martinez in Monterrey, Mexico, etc. For several musical productions and already we are in the order for those who want to contact us for this.
