the first day when we were on the plane I was very excited to see all the tall buildings and the Statue of Liberty. The plane, first landing at the airport in Atlanta was really great and we were there two hours after the plane left for New York JFK Airport in Queens.
When we finished the immigration process were to take a taxi to take us to our hotel in Manhattan. The driver was from India and chatted with us while I was watching the landscape. The
ours was the Edison Hotel, which was a few steps from Times Square and the Broadway district. As the taxi passed near the area for a moment I thought it was daytime so many lights that were around and I was thrilled and wanted to get off the taxi to see them. When we checked into the hotel and up the suitcases the room, quickly walked to Times Square to know the area.
The next day we went on a tour of the southern island of Manhattan in a double-decker bus to meet several financial buildings in the area.
we
later returned to address the ferry to return. at noon we visited Ground Zero area and lunch at a Burger King and every American, we enter a store and went to Wall Street, we saw the bull, the NY Stock Exchange. In the afternoon we went to an exhibition called BODIES , which is done with organs, bones and muscles of 20 cadavers to show the human body inside. It seemed amazing how you can make a vital organ disease, but exposure is good.
In the evening we returned to our hotel to rest and continue to see Times Square and visited the wax museum Madame Tussauds , where we took pictures with many famous people in the world, also was Shakira. Unfortunately, the Virgin Record store was closed and could not enter.
night we went to the 86th floor observatory of the Empire State Building, where he saw many lights on the floor and no other skyscrapers that were distinguished by the great height of this building.
In my opinion this observation seemed better than the Empire State because they could better distinguish the buildings and you could see Central Park. In the afternoon we went to the NBC studio where he recorded popular television shows like Saturday Night Live . I liked this experience because we also saw how it was that Fox News videotaped
the evening approached for the first time the Metro to go to the Manhattan Mall, one block from the Empire State where I could buy the game Rock Band II Wii at a good price.
On day 4 we went shopping and at noon we went to New Jersey taxi to address the cruise. Upon arrival we checked and then up to see what the boat. Was quite large, had 15 floors and many interesting things: theater, pools, ice rink, restaurants, shopping area itself, minigolf, casino, cinema, jacuzzi, bars, cafes, internet room, library and much more.
Returning to New York, a friend of my parents brought us back to Manhattan and we turn into the south of the island visiting Chinatown and Little Italy. Lunch in a typical Italian restaurant saw yal finish all the food sold in Chinatown as shellfish, fish and frogs. In the afternoon we went to Central Park and play with the squirrels looking meals. We Delvolvé the hotel to sleep that night.
The next day we went to the largest clothing store in the world, Macy's and in the afternoon we went to Union Square, a park on every corner that we found people who sing songs of different genres: rock, opera, country and others. went to the store of Paragon Sports, which is awesome because there are tools for almost all sports, skateboards had $ 800 or diving masks $ 120.
same day evening we went back to Bogota. The flight went very late, almost at dawn and I could get some sleep.
All holidays really liked them, I think were the best I've ever had. It seemed to me an experience I would repeat whenever possible. I recommend this city because it has everything anyone could want.
